Annual Inspections at Long Creek

Amren Frechette, CCSWCD Technician and Pete Carney of the LCWMD have been working on annual parcel inspections at properties in the Long Creek Watershed.

During annual parcel inspections, technicians, staff and landowners / representatives focus on inspecting stormwater infrastructure, catch basins, BMPs, dumpster and waste management and erosion issues to help prevent pollution.

The team gives suggested recommendations and requests to the landowners to improve stormwater management and waste management on their site.

Recent visits included Ecomaine, Portland Public Works, and Diodes Incorporated facilities in South Portland, Maine.
