The next Long Creek Watershed Management District Board of Directors Meeting is scheduled for October 26, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00a.m.

New this year, Private BMP Incentive Program awards are for up to 100% of project costs (previously awards were for up to 75% of project costs), with a cap of $50,000.

The District’s Boad of Directors is pleased to reissue the Private BMP Incentive Program which provides financial assistance to Participating Landowners that invest in activities that will improve water quality in Long Creek.

At the District’s June Board of Directors, the District’s final budget for Fiscal Year 2023 was approved.

We recently submitted the 2021 Annual Report to the Maine Department of Environmental Protection highlighting activities conducted during 2021.

Each year we inspect properties in the Long Creek Watershed to help landowners improve their properties and reduce stormwater pollutants.
